The 2014 World Cup was finally over, with Germany winning, and our group enjoyed a visit to the renowned Hills Foods in Coquitlam—"Our Business is Going WILD!"—for a tour of their operation and a wild game cooking demonstration followed by a summer barbeque. Anne was an expert tour director and guided us through the shop, meat handling and processing and storage facility to the test kitchen where our host Chef Mark Hills demonstrated the preparation of Thai Crocodile Curry— delicious dish!—followed by preparation of wild kangaroo for the barbeque. The weather was warm and sunny and we enjoyed a wonderfult meal of a selection of barbequed game sausages, quail and kangaroo with a selection of salads, all prepared expertly by Tina and Mark Hills and accompanied by wines from our cellar. We enjoyed a splendid day and our thanks go to Mark and Tina Hills for their gracious hospitality and to Anne who now finds a new career as a Tour Guide.
